The legal requirements to train employees should extend beyond awareness and understanding of health and safety issues.

The F1 Training Services Level 2 Health and Safety Course is a 3 day course designed for those working in any business regardless of their product or service range. It is essential for all those who have a supervisory role that includes a need for a greater knowledge of health and safety issues.  The programme covers a defined syllabus requiring a minimum of 18 hours tuition time and students are assessed on their performance in a 1 hour examination requiring a 70% pass mark.

Successful candidates will have a good knowledge of health and safety issues and will be able to assist in the management of health and safety in most businesses, by assisting in the development of monitoring programmes, designing safe practices and procedures, liaising with enforcement officers, organising staff training, and establishing risk assessment projects (with additional training where necessary).
