2 Hour Sale & Service of Alcohol training in Aberdeen Dundee & Glasgow


The Scottish Licensing Act 2005 states that to be able to work in an establishment where alcohol is sold either for consumption on or off premises an individual must have specific training.

This course allows you to gain a certificate to show employers you have been trained. This course will relate to the compulsory elements set out in the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.

Course Objectives:

  • Understanding the 5 licensing objectives
  • The meaning of alcohol, affects of alcohol and units.
  • Different types of licence i.e.  Personal, Premises and Occasional.
  • Hours of Service, Police Powers, Control of Order, Offences, Proof of Age, Protection of children and young people, Drugs.
  • Understanding of the role of the Licensing Standards Officer

Assessment questionnaire held at end of course.

      Courses are held regularly in our Aberdeen and Dundee venues.
