Amanda - Your first point of contact usually, is a bubbly helpful character and our youngest recruit. For enquiries, advice and bookings she is the lady. Competent she is able to assist with most queries and is efficient with it, she will always get back to you. If unable to help Amanda will make sure you are contacted by someone who can. She aims to please!!!
Peter - our Health and Safety Practitioner, regularly goes into work places to advice and assess on their Health and Safety issues. An Instructor and Assessor in the North East for the land based industry for many years. With bowling and skiing as his hobbies, he lives an active life.Glad - is a qualified Registered General Nurse having trained at Foresterhill College Aberdeen and worked as a Sister (Relief) at A.R.I. for a number of years. She then spent a very rewarding year involved in asthma education covering a large area of Scotland. Thereafter she worked as a Nursing Officer at B.P. Dyce and Rubislaw. This led to an occupational practice nurse qualification in her next employment at O.M.S. Ltd Aberdeen, Her interest and experience in sub-aqua diving, boat handling and teaching led her to become an instructor in rescue medical aid at M.R.I. Ltd Stonehaven. This involved teaching rescue procedures required in a maritime environment including advanced techniques. Glad is a music lover and plays piano and is known to compose a song or two when inspired! She also loves the outdoors and salsa dancing.
Cheryl - another member of staff with a bubbly personality and very experienced with anatomy due to her Health and Fitness background. With a training background for a number of years she was recruited for her obvious instructional skills in Health and Fitness which complimented her first aid knowledge and experience. Laughter usually accompanies her courses.Lynn - is one of our longest serving members of staff whom initially was office orientated but due to her aptitude and abilities became an assessor then eventually First Aid Instructor. Presently doing a Nebosh course. Just finished doing a First esponder course with the Scottish Ambulance Service and is snootily telling us she is better than us now. !!!!!!! Concentrates quite a bit on the Children's Courses. Smile on her face, gets on well with everybody.
Stewart - previously a nurse, founded F1 Training Services in 1994. Previously employed in the Scottish Prison Service he was recruited by the Civil Service Occupational Health Department, Stewart gained valuable knowledge and experience within his working field. Originally, Stewart enjoyed first aid as a hobby, which then became his career.He is actively involved in instructing and assessing, and has developed the company throughout Scotland. His qualities include an enthusiastic approach to instructing, and enjoying a good rapport with both his fellow colleagues and students alike. He is also very involved with instructing Manual Handling and Client Moving & Handling courses. He believes he is sent all over Scotland on courses to keep him away from the office. In his spare time Stewart enjoys following and occasionally going to cheer on the Dons at Pittodrie. He also likes to spend his time buying silly things at local auctions.Being the boss, he likes to "think" that his finger is always on the pulse !?!?!
